I decide who is the winner of the most arguments in the round.

I am learning to take notes as I listen.

I look for clear, logical and concise explanations. The best debater is the one who can take on complicated issues and like an "onion" peel off the evidence and arguments one by one until the "case" is made. I appreciate a little humor and debaters that explain things in simple terms for me as a judge as well as their peers. I enjoy debate and everyone who participates should too.
