I am the head speech and debate coach at Olympia High School in Orlando, FL. I competed myself in high school and attended the CFL National Championships in Dramatic Interp many years ago.

Here is what I look for:

Debate events:
I value a traditional debate and do not favor spreading. I look for clear and logical links and impacts with strong evidence to support your arguments.

Congress:
I look for clear and professional presentation skills (I do not value reading exclusively from your computer.) I also look for you to reference other representatives' arguments and advancing the debate in your speeches.

Speech Events:
I look for clear and professional speech mechanics. Variety, inflection and impactful blocking and hand gestures.
