It is that time of year to prepare for our section tournament in 5AA! It should be a fun and competitive night at Anoka! Thank you to Tim Anderson for hosting us in person this year this year (next year, we’ll be moving to a new host site). A finalized schedule and live doc will be posted shortly. 

The tournament will be held on Thursday, March 23. Teams are limited to 39 entries with no more than 4 entries per category. Extemp Reading and Storytelling will draw from all stories and the discussion tasks will come from the area designated for sections within the outline. 

Entry Fees: No fees this year! Free!

Registration: Please submit your entries by March 17. Only drops will be allowed after March 17. 

Schedule: We hope to start Round 1 at 4:00 pm (3:30 Draw). 

We’ll be sending out more information on timers, workers, and room managers. 

Remember that we submit student scripts (with citation information where MSHSL rules indicate. Visual aids in informative also need citations) and community standard forms before Section competition.
