BELLEVUE WEST FORENSICS
THE 2023 VARSITY T-BIRD INVITATIONAL
The Bellevue West Forensics Team would like to invite you to the 16th annual Bellevue West High School Thunderbird Invitational on November 4, 2023! We're excited to be the National Individual Events Tournament of Champions National Host May 10-12, 2024 and an NIETOC Bid Tournament---come check out the national site before competing here in May!
Tournament Format
There will be three rounds of competition and finals. Competitors may TRIPLE ENTER this year.
Fees
Entry fees will be $9.00. All fees will be assessed at entry deadline.
Judging
Please provide one judge for every five (5) entries. Judges may be hired at $15 per uncovered entry. Since we are using e-ballots this year, judges need a valid email address when If you register them on Speechwire. If you have a large entry, we may have to limit the number of judges you bring. We may have to run rounds with your speakers hitting. Questions? Call Becca.
E-Ballots & Schematics
We will use electronic ballots this year! Please bring an electronic device (phone, ipad, or laptop) with wireless capabilities in order to fulfill judging requirements. All schematics will be posted via Speechwire, please have your students subscribe to the touranment and follow their code to receive updates.
Concessions
There will be a concession stand available throughout the tournament for competitors. In between round 2 and 3 pizza will be sold for lunch.
