THE 2024 VOICE OF THE VISTA Tournament
The Buena Vista High Forensics Team would like to invite you to the VOICE OF THE VISTA Tournament on November 9, 2024!
We are a NIETOC bid touranment for NIETOC in Liberty, MO on May 16-18, 2025.
Tournament Format
There will be three rounds of competition and finals. Competitors may TRIPLE ENTER this year.
Fees
Entry fees will be $8.00. A drop fee of $8 will be applied to enteries dropped after the entry deadline. All fees will be assessed at entry deadline.
Judging
Please provide one judge for every five (5) entries. Judges may be hired at $15 per uncovered entry. Since we are using e-ballots this year, judges need a valid email address when you register them on Speechwire. If you have a large entry, we may have to limit the number of judges you bring. We may have to run rounds with your speakers hitting. Questions? Call Kat.
E-Ballots & Schematics
We will use electronic ballots this year! Please bring an electronic device (phone, ipad, or laptop) with wireless capabilities in order to fulfill judging requirements. All schematics will be posted via Speechwire, please have your students subscribe to the touranment and follow their code to receive updates.
Concessions
There will be a concession stand available throughout the tournament for competitors. Breakfast items will be available at 8am. In between round 2 and 3 pizza and other hot items will be sold for lunch.
