Rocky South Novice - Open to ALL Schools

Saturday, October 19th, 2024 at

Ralston Valley High School

Coaches, you are invited to the 2024 Rocky South Novice Tournament hosted at Ralston Valley High School on Saturday, October 19th. This tournament is organized by the coaches of the Rocky South NSDA District but is open to all schools! We’d love to see you there!

Events: HI, DI, Duo, Poetry, POI, OO, INF, USX, IX, LD, PF, CX, Congress 

Topics: 

Extemp: Students will be allowed to draw from either IX or USX topics each round. Topic areas will be announced the week of. 

LD: Resolved: The United States ought to require that workers receive a living wage.

PF: Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially expand its surveillance infrastructure along its southern border.

Congress Docket: Hope to publish two weeks out

Judges: 

Bring varsity students! Bring a lot of them. We want to single flight debate. We will use everyone who shows up. Don’t have varsity kids? No worries! Just let us know so we can plan.  

Fees: $7 per entry.
