The Auburn Public Schools speech team is excited to invite you to our annual speech invitational on Saturday, February 8, 2025. This will be an in-person tournament and a NIETOC bid meet! Registration will be at the Middle School entrance on the east side of the building.

Tournament competition will consist of two preliminary rounds followed by one final round. The top six competitors in each event will advance to the final round of competition. Only two students per school will be able to break through to finals for each event. All finalists will receive medals. Sweepstakes trophies will be awarded to the top two teams. Novice speakers are welcome, but will not compete in separate flights. A top novice medal will be awarded to the top novice speaker in each event (excluding OID and Duet).

Entry forms must be in by 4:00 pm on Wednesday, February 5th. Fees for the tournament will be $8 per slot, with each judge covering up to 5 slots. There will be a $15 fee per uncovered slot/entry. Please plan to bring judges to cover your entries, as they are needed for the tournament to run smoothly.

There will be a concession stand available along with a lounge for coaches, judges, and bus drivers. All judges must be available to judge finals. If you have questions, please contact Danielle Wredt at danielle.wredt@apsbulldogs.org. Hope to see you on February 8th!
