Southeastern Forensics League Invite
Dear Forensic Colleagues:
We invite you and your teams to join us for the 2024-2025 Valley Forensic League season! We are thrilled to offer speech and IPDA debate competition October 4th and 5th at Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN.
The competition will offer all 11 AFA-NST events on both days as well as parliamentary debate on Saturday. We will recognize all finalists in each event, top novice in each event, and the top three teams. We will also recognize outround participants in debate.
League fees for the year are $125.00 and covers event entry and some refreshments for participants. The league fees do not cover uncovered judge slots, which will be $15.00 per uncovered slot. One judge will cover 6 entries, or a portion thereof. Debate judges cover 2 entries. Schools are asked to cover all slots whenever possible to cut down on hired judge costs. All judges are expected to help cover final rounds.
More details on SFL 1-2 will be provided below. If you have any questions about the tournament, please feel free to contact any member of the Ad-Hoc SFL Executive Committee. On behalf of the Executive Committee, welcome to a new year and we hope to see you in Nashville, TN in October!
