Hello Speech Coaches!
The Thornton Township High School Speech Team is pleased to invite you to the 40th Annual Thornton “Turkey” Tournament to be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024. There will be special events planned for the 40th since it is a big deal! We are looking forward to a great day and are excited to run an efficient and organized tournament.
Preliminary information regarding the tournament is listed below. The tournament will include three preliminary rounds and a final round including a next in.
Please indicate your interest by completing SpeechWire's registration by Friday, October 25th.
We look forward to seeing your team at Thornton this year.
Please keep in mind teams that host a tournament will be allowed to enter four in each event. NO TRIPLE ENTRIES ALLOWED. Additionally, the overall number of entries will be capped so get those in as soon as possible.
At this time, we will be offering concessions at the tournament. When we are closer to the tournament, we will be sending an email to get an estimated number of students that will be utilizing concessions.
