The South Elgin High School Stormin' Speech Team would love to invite you all to our PAJAMA PARTY themed U-46 MIXER! Your competitors are welcome to compete in their comfy pjs or they can choose to wear traditional speech gear.

CONCESSIONS:

Lunch will be a pizza order. Keep your eye out for a form.

There will be some special sweet treats for sale--details to come.

We will also have boosters selling regular concessions (I think--more info to come)

NO HOMEROOMS:

In order to encourage district team bonding, we will all be housed in the commons.

JUDGES:

Since this will be a compact tournament, if at all possible, plan to bring clean judges. We'll need one judge for every five entries. Because we are small, your judges may very well end up judging your competitors.

STRUCTURE:

We will be offering a tournament with three preliminary rounds of competition followed by awards. Radio and Extemp will prep for each round.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:

Registration: 7:00 AM

Coaches + Judges Meeting: 8:00 AM

Radio Prep 1: 7:45 AM

Extemp Prep 1: 8:00 AM

Round 1: 8:30 AM

Radio Prep 2: 9:15 AM

Extemp Prep 2: 9:30

Round 2: 10:00 AM

Radio Prep 3: 11:00 AM

Extemp Prep 3: 11:15 AM

Round 3: 11:45 AM

Awards: 1:30 PM

AWARDS:

We will not be breaking ties for awards, so there will be lots of chances for your team to earn some hardware before we move into the State Series.

The top three teams will receive a team award.

$150.00 per team
