The Howland Forensics program is pleased to be hosting the Annual Amy Lowe Memorial Tournament on WEDNESDAY, December 11, 2024.  This will be a full in-person event. All competition will occur at the high school-- 200 Shaffer Drive, Warren, Ohio 44484

 

Currently, we are offering 3 rounds in all IE and Debate. We will be hosting a student congress.  There will be no final congress (each chamber will award their top three speakers) We plan on 3 smaller chambers.  Please mark your top 3 congress folks as "varsity" to ensure they are spread across the chambers.

 

We are also offering middle school speech and congress (no MS Debate).

 

We will NOT be offering BQD or Policy.  We will run PF if there are enough entries.  

 

Registration is Due by 3:00 pm on FRIDAY, December 6th.  Drops after that time will be charged.

Cost per student is $4.00. CHECKS PAYABLE TO HOWLAND BOOSTER CLUB

 

Debate and Congress will use NSDA topics and OSDA congress docket for 12/14.

Middle school congress should prepare ODD NUMBERED legislation in the docket.

 

Enter as many students as you like in all events. DOUBLED ENTRIES PERMITTED. Mark 3 entries in each event as varsity. Depending on numbers students should expect to compete against teammates.   

 

The building will be open as early as 3:30.  Our boosters will have items for dinner all evening.

Awards: 8--PLEASE ARRANGE TRANSPORTATION FOR AN EARLY DAY.

 

Please confirm your school's attendance and tentative numbers ASAP.

 

All other logistics will be sent once we get tentative numbers and interested schools.
