Schedule: 8:45-9:00 Arrival & Check-in 

9:15 Judge Meeting in LRC

9:20 Student Meeting in Fieldhouse

9:30 Round 1

11:15 Round 2

1:00 Power Round/Dance

2:30 Awards

Format: There will be two rounds for each category followed by a power 

round.

Coaches: You will be required to turn in an emergency roster at check-in.

Judges: All judges are expected to bring a laptop device with them as we 

are using Speechwire e-ballots. They should also have a non-phone stopwatch. Judges should make sure that they can log in to their Speechwire accounts before tournament day.

Concessions: Concessions will be sold in the North Commons between 10:30 AM 

and 3:30 PM. There will be candy, drinks, hot dogs, walking tacos, Spaghetti-O’s, chips, popcorn, and nachos for sale. Please, bring small bills for purchasing food. All food must be consumed in the commons, NOT the gym!

Awards: Red/blue ribbons will be awarded to every contestant and given to 

coaches following awards for distribution.  We will be giving out 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place in each category along with team awards in 3 different size divisions.
