Hello everyone!

 

I am very eager to invite you to The LNK, a collaborative tournament hosted by several Lincoln schools, on Saturday, November 23rd at Lincoln North Star High School. 

 

We are happy to announce that this is an NIETOC qualifying tournament. NIETOC will be held in Kansas City this year from May 16th-18th. 

 

We are running the following events in the divisions listed: 

- Dramatic Interp. (Novice/Varsity)

- Humorous Interp. (Novice/Varsity)

- Duo Interp. (Varsity; novices will be mixed in w/ Varsity)

- Poetry Interp. (Novice/Varsity; may be mixed in w/ POI if numbers are low)

- Program Oral Interp. (Novice/Varsity; may be mixed together if numbers are low)

- Persuasive Speaking (Novice/Varsity)

- Informative Speaking (Novice/Varsity)

- Entertainment Speaking (Novice/Varsity; may be mixed together if numbers are low)

- Impromptu Speaking (Varsity; novices will be mixed in w/ Varsity)

- Extemporaneous Speaking (Novice/Varsity)

 

Entries: there is no base-fee for teams, but each event will be $8. There is also a $15/event fee if you are missing a judge. I am asking for 1 judge for every 5 events. 

 

Judges Lounge will be provided by the Lincoln Southwest team; Concessions covered by the Lincoln East team. If you have concerns or dietary restrictions, please feel free to email Alison Finn-Couch and she will make sure you are taken care of.
