Dear Coaches and Competitors,
I am thrilled to welcome you to the Spring 2024 Shepherd University Open! We are excited to host you. We hope you will join us for an exciting weekend of speech and debate competitions.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
1. Students may enter a maximum of eight events. Up to double enter allowable.
2. Entries are due via SpeechWire.
3. ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE A SPEECHWIRE ACCOUNT PRIOR TO TOURNAMENT DAY. Coaches can create this for students if necessary. Aly is here to help you through this if needed!
4. LD prompt will be the same as the National Forensics Association prompt.
ENTRY FEES AND JUDGE REQUIREMENTS
1. Entry fees will include a $10 per slot for the first thirty entries fee and $7 each additional entry. Please contact Aly with issues.
2. Please provide a qualified judge for every six events. All uncovered slots will incur an additional $5 fee.
3. Invoices will be sent out directly by the tournament director following the completion of the tournament.
4. Payments are due in the form of mailed checks or credit card payment within 30 days after final invoices are emailed (unless other payment arrangements have been approved prior).
