We are happy to invite you to our SkyHawk Speech High School Invitational on Friday February 7th, 2025! We hope our competition will gather some of the best speech programs in the state and help prepare your team for post-season speech competition. 

FEES/DEADLINES: Entries are due by Tuesday, Feb. 4, at 6:00 PM. Each entry costs $8.00.

EVENTS: All 10 NSAA-sanctioned events will be offered--as well as Impromptu. Students may triple-enter; however, students in Extemporaneous and Oral Interpretation of Drama will need to use their time wisely, as we will not hold rounds late.

In order to accommodate schools from various classifications, Extemporaneous Speakers will be allotted 45 minutes for prep time, Duos may perform in Duet Acting without penalty, and Class A OIDs (10 min) may perform without penalty as well. 

JUDGES: Please bring judges if you are able. NSAA certified judges are preferred. All judges must be mature and write vaulable feedback for the students. If you would not trust a judge to critique your students, then please do NOT hire that judge.

AWARDS: In all categories, the Top 6 will advance to finals, and if entry numbers are larger than 35 we will break to 6 in Champs and 6 in Honors. Students who triple-enter are eligible for the Individual Sweepstakes Award as well.

FOOD: Concessions will be sold throughout the event at the concession stand in the Gymnasium Hallway. There will be a teachers'/judge's lounge with hearty fare as well as water and additional drinks available.

PAYMENT: Please make your team's check payable to Skutt Catholic High School, c/o SkyHawk Speech.
