As you finalize your planning for the Mille Lacs speech meet at Onamia High School on Saturday, February 8th, the following information may be useful to you:
FORMAT: There will be three straight rounds in all categories, finals if size allows. TIMETABLE: Registration will begin at 8:00am inside the main entrance to Onamia High School. All buses may park in the front parking lot. All draws will begin at 8:30am in the elementary library. Round one for all categories begins at 9:00am. ENTRY FEES: $7 per entry (one duo is one entry). Make checks payable to Onamia High School. AWARDS: Awards will be given to the top six speakers in each category. FOOD: The Mille Lacs Speech team will be offering students a variety foods from our concessions stand. For coaches and judges, food will be offered in the Home Ec room (room 106). IMPORTANT NOTE: Your REGISTRATION will be due no later than Wednesday, February 5th at 3:00 PM. DROPs and ADDs allowed through 7:30 am the morning of the tournament. Please go on to speechwire to report drops and adds or text me as soon as you know.
