Dear Middle School Coaches,

On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are pleased to invite your team to compete at the 2025 Florida Forensic League (FFL) Middle School State Tournament! This tournament will coincide with the 2025 FFL Novice State Tournament, hosted by John I. Leonard HS (in the Palm Beach area), on Friday, April 11th and Saturday, April 12th.

The 2025 FFL Middle School State Tournament is open to 6th-8th grade students at schools that have completed FFL membership for the 2024-2025 school year. For Middle Schools ONLY, you may still join the Florida Forensic League until the week before the tournament! Please see the “Eligibility” section for details.

The FFL Board of Directors and our host, Quentin Scruggs, are carefully planning a wonderful experience for your Middle School students! The separation of Middle School State and Novice State into two tournaments has led to a few changes - it’s more important than ever to read the ENTIRE tournament invitation! We are committed to running a fair, efficient, and on-time tournament, but this is only possible if all member schools adhere to the published deadlines and procedures.

In the coming weeks, we will continue to update SpeechWire with the latest information. Any changes made to this LIVE document after publication on Monday, March 10th, will be highlighted yellow.
