We are excited to see you all at the 46th American Forensic Association National Speech Tournament on April 4th to April 7th. Thank you to our friends at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte for hosting us on their beautiful campus. Below, please find a list of important dates, deadlines, and links to relevant documents.

HIRED JUDGES, SIGN UP HERE!

One Week Prior to Spring District Qualifier (or at an earlier date determined by your respective District Chair)

• Up-to-date At-Large Qualification Form due to District Chair

Spring District Qualifier

• $50 NST subscription fee due, if not previously paid prior to December 1

March 2, 2025

• Final date to earn at-large qualification for the NST

March 5, 2025 (or at an earlier date determined by your respective District Chair): 

• Final AFA-NST Qualification Form due to District Chair

• Student Verification Form due to District Chair

• Anti-Sexual Harassment Training Verification Form due to District Chair

March 15, 2025

• DISTRICT CHAIRS: District All-American selections must be forwarded to Chair of National All-American Committee

March 17, 2025

• AFA-NST Entries Due on Speechwire

• AFA Membership Fee Due

• DISTRICT CHAIRS: Confirmation of at-large legs, anti-sexual harassment training, and student verification form due to National Tournament Director 

• Bid to Host 2026 AFA-NST (but accepted on rolling basis)

March 31, 2025

• TEAM JUDGES: School Judge Training must be completed

• HIRED JUDGES: Hired Judge Training, Anti-Sexual Harassment Training, and Training Confirmation Form must be completed
