General information

This is a High School tournament in Minnesota.

Welcome to the MSHSL 4AA section speech tournament!

The format of the tournament is three preliminary rounds followed by a final round for the top six in each event. The top three students in each event will advance to the state tournament!

The registration deadline is TUESDAY, APRIL 8. After the deadline, no entries may be added. Drops and substitutions are allowed.

There is a limit of 39 total entries with no more than 8 per event. Double entries are not allowed.

Schools are responsible for bringing a qualified adult worker for every ten entries or portion thereof. The head coach counts as one worker, covering the first ten entries. I will be working to organize tasks in the coming weeks. Most workers will serve as timers.

Please plan to provide any student script virtually to the tournament rules committee via Joan Nelson. This page will be updated with more information as it becomes available.
