Greetings! The Jefferson City High School Speech and Debate team cordially invites you to attend the 22^nd Annual Jefferson City Capital Classic on January 30, 2015, and January 31, 2015, to be held at Jefferson City High School.

The Jefferson City Capital Classic boasts one of the most unique tournament experiences in the state, due to its location, drawing in schools from all over the state to compete. We will be using SpeechWire for this tournament, thus entries should be handled and submitted through the website. To help accommodate these unique entries, we ask that you request only 3 entries per event. Additional entries will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Deadline to submit entries will be Thursday, January 22, 2014.  Drops need to be completed on Speechwire by Tuesday, January 27, 2014.

Registration will begin at 3:00 at Jefferson City High School, however, they dismiss school at 2:50 – expect some traffic trying to get to the school. Students can be dropped off at the front/main entrance of the school. Buses can be parked in the front parking lot of the school.

While this tournament is considered an “open” tournament, we will be offering both championship and regular divisions of debate. However, it is possible the divisions could be combined.

A hospitality room will be provided for all coaches, judges, and bus drivers. Concessions will be available for all competitors Friday and Saturday.

CONGRESS LEGISLATION will be created by my Congress Students and will be distributed one week prior to the tournament.
