General information This information is from a tournament in a past season! This is a High School tournament in Indiana. View manager contact information Greetings!
You are invited to Chesterton’s Skeffington Memorial Tournament on Saturday, November 2, 2019.
Please bring one judge for every five entries (6 entries = 2 judges). Judges will be asked to write clear, logical critiques for the students. Students need to understand the reason for their rank. We will not have timekeepers; judges should use stopwatches to time students. If the judge does not have a stopwatch he/she should announce to all students that time will not be kept. Please inform your judges of recent changes in IHSFA rules and newly added events. Unless otherwise stated, we will default to IHSFA tournament rules for individual events. Discussion: Artifacts will be posted in the "Files for download" section of Speechwire. Extemp: Topic areas will be posted in the "Files for download" section of Speechwire. Questions will come from current events that occurred or were discussed in the media from September 1, 2019 through the present. Broadcasting: Details for each round will be posted in the "Files for download" section of Speechwire.
