Dear Coach, You and your team are invited to the Lois Hodgins Memorial Tournament at Eau Claire Memorial High School on Saturday, February 22, 2020. The team has chosen to dedicate our tournament to the memory of long-time Memorial coach, Lois Hodgins, after she passed away two years ago. She encouraged the students to grow into better performers, speakers, and individuals This tournament is WFCA and WHSFA friendly and is open for students to single, double, or triple enter. There will be awards at the end of the tournament following three prelim and one final round. There will be team awards for small teams (20 or fewer entries depending on how many teams we have) and large teams based on the top 25 entries from each school. Entry fees will be $7 per individual event and $10 per group event. Please bring one judge for every 5 entries that you will be bringing. Please let me know if you have difficulty with finding clean judges (we recommend bringing no more than 5 affiliated—non-clean—judges). We may be able to find solutions. Hired judges will be available for $100 per judge needed. (We can find alternative solutions if needed.) Please have your team registered by Friday, February 14th, 2020 at 7:00pm. Entry drops close on February 21st, 2020 at 3:00pm. All drops after this time will neither reduce your fees nor your judging requirements. Checks are payable to Memorial High School. Please reach out or call if you have any questions. Please text/call in your drops by 7:15am Arrival at the school is between 7:45 and 8:15am (or when you can get there, as the weather can be unpredictable). First round begins at 9:00am.
